GENERAL CONSTRUCTION NOTES
1, The General Contractor shall provide building penetrations, roofing, and other
construction needs f or installation of system equipment.
2, The General Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining structural integrity and
provide required structural supports as required City of Edmonds.
3, The General Contractor shall be responsible f or other trades unless otherwise stated
by the conditions of the general contract with the project owner.
EXHAUST SYSTEM NOTES
1, The exhaust/make-up air systems are to meet requirements of the International Mechanical Code,
and NFPA-96, The Type I exhaust ductwork to be constructed of f ully welded 16 gauge steel.
2. Exhaust must be a minimum of 10'-0" from any air intake, adjacent building, or adjoining property.
3. Exhaust and make-up air systems must be electrically interconnected to be operated
simultaneously by a single on/of f switch,
ELECTRICAL NOTES
1, The electrical contractor shall provide and install interconnecting f field wiring between the
hood equipment control switches, and exhaust / make-up air system equipment contactors.
