SUPPLEMENTARY SUBMITTAL LETTER:
Dear Mr. Akau,
As a result of final coordination with the manufactured truss company, Builders First Source, in Everett,
WA, it was necessary for the Structural Engineer of Record, Sabco Consulting Engineers, Inc. to make
some changes to part of the Structural Drawings. We have identified the changes made in this
resubmittal after permit issuance, as Delta No. 2, "clouded" areas, on Drawings dated 5/25/2023, on
Sheets S1, S3, and S4. Builders First Source is required to submit calculations and shop drawings
specifically for the manufactured trusses for this project to the City of Edmonds for separate review and
permit.
With this supplementary submittal for review and approval, I am also including the Geotechnical
Recommendations Letter from Mud Bay Geotechnical Services, LLC, dated 25 May 2023. The City of
Edmonds previously agreed to allow for a delayed submittal of this document until after the general
permit was issued and the General Contractor was allowed to start demolition to expose areas for
investigation by the geotechnical engineer.
My office herewith requests that the City Edmonds review these documents for approval and permit as a
Supplementary Submittal under the original Permit No. BLD2023-0055. Please let me know if you have
