This letter is written in response to your latest comments regarding the Structural Revisions we had
submitted as "Modifications After Permit" under Delta No. 2, dated 5/25/2023. New changes are noted
as Delta No. 2, but with a date of 6/13/2023. I am also providing clarification and explanation as
follows:
1.) We are resubmitting Sheet S2 with New Detail 1/S2 to cover instances where there is no stud
framing to the roof sheathing. This is referenced to (3) new locations on Sheet S4. Detail 2/S2
is to cover instances where there exists wood stud framing to the underside of roof framing.
2.) We are resubmitting Sheet S4 with a change of Detail Reference for Shear Wall reference Detail
1/S2:
a.) Along Gridline 15 between Gridlines A and B (the location for your original request for
clarification).
b.) Between Gridlines 9 and 10 and Gridlines B and D
c.) Between Gridlines 10 and 20 and Gridlines C and D
3.) We are resubmitting Sheet S3 with the following revision:
a.) The Structural Engineer has determined that along Gridline 5.5 no pad footing is
required at the end points at Gridlines B and H. The pad footings previously shown
have been removed.
