4. CONTRACTOR SHALL LOCATE, PRESERVE, AND PROTECT ALL UTILITIES TO
REMAIN.
5. CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE SCHEDULE WITH OWNER TO ENSURE THAT
CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES DO NOT OBSTRUCT OTHER PLANNED ACTIVITIES
6. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE A COMPLETE AND PROPER EXECUTION OF THE
WORK. NOTIFY ARCHITECT IMMEDIATELY OF ANY CONFLICTING INFORMATION
OR OMISSIONS.
7. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROTECT AND MAINTAIN ACCESS TO ALL BUILDINGS
DURING CONSTRUCTION.
8. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION FENCING AROUND
AREA OF WORK.
9. NEW WALKWAY AREAS SHALL BE STRIPPED AND ANY ORGANICS REMOVED.
ASSUME 6" DEPTH FOR BIDDING PURPOSES.
10. REMOVE ANY ADDITIONAL SOIL AS REQUIRED TO ESTABLISH SUBGRADE
INDICATED IN PAVEMENT SECTION DETAILS.
11. ALL NEW WALKWAYS TO BE GRADED AND FINISHED FOR ADA COMPLIANCE,
MAXIMUM 5% SLOPE IN DIRECTION OF PATH AND MAXIMUM 2% CROSS SLOPE.
12. ANY AREAS DISTURBED DURING THE COURSE OF CONSTRUCTION ARE TO BE
RESTORED PER SITE RESTORATION NOTES.
13. GENERAL ALIGNMENT OF WALKING PATH IS SHOWN. FIELD VERIFY, PROVIDE

1. FILL ANY LOW POINTS AND BRING AREA UP TO FINISHED GRADE MATCHING
EXISTING SURROUNDING FIELD GRADES
1.1. CONTRACTOR SHALL ENSURE FILL MATERIAL IS CLEAN AND FREE OF ANY
DELETERIOUS MATERIALS, DEBRIS, AND ROCKS
2. HYDROSEED ONCE FINAL GRADING HAS BEEN COMPLETED
� PLAN NOTES:
1. TIE IN NEW WALKING PATH TO EXISTING WALKWAY. SAWCUT EXISTING PAVEMENT
FOR CLEAN EDGE AND PROVIDE TACKCOAT IF NEW PATHWAY IS ASPHALT OR
ISOLATION BOARD AND JOINT SEALANT IF NEW WALKWAY IS CONCRETE.
2. MODIFY EXISTING IRRIGATION SYTEM AS REQUIRED TO AVOID NEW WALKING PATH
AND TO PROVIDE FULL SPRINKLER COVERAGE OF THE EXISTING FIELD. TYP
3. REMOVE PLAY EQUIPMENT, ASSOCIATED FOUNDATIONS, WOOD CHIPS, PERIMETER
BORDER, AND ANY ORGANIC MATERIAL WITHIN THE PLAY AREA FOOTPRINT.
4. MODIFY EXISTING FENCE TO PROVIDE MATCHING 4FT WIDE PEDESTRIAN GATE 1
WITH LATCH AND HARDWARE TO ACCEPT OWNER PROVIDED PADLOCK.
5. PROVIDE PATHWAY FROM EXISTING PAVED AREA TO WALKING TRACK THAT DOES
NOT EXCEED 5% SLOPE ALONG PATH AND NOT EXCEED 2% CROSS SLOPE.
REGRADE ON EITHER SIDE OF PATH SO LAWN AREA DOES NOT EXCEED 4:1 SLOPE.
ADJUST ALIGNMENT OF PATH AS REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN THESE CONSTRAINTS
6. INFILL EXISTING PEDESTRIAN OPENINGS IN CHAINLINK FENCE. MATCH EXISTING 2
