Please provide dimensions for the area that will need to be used and the length of time. • 25' x 45' Duration will be two weeks. 2) Typically, when use of the right-of-way is approved, the area shall be opened at the end of each day. If this is not feasible, please explain why and what needs to remain in the right-of-way. • This project will require access to the entire brick wall for the workers. Mobilization of access equipment (scaffolding, pump jacks) will be required for the removal of the brick and the replacement with the new siding. The mobilization and demobilization of this equipment takes several hours which makes daily removal infeasible. During nonworking hours, the right-of-way will be minimized to the mobilized access equipment area. Clearly state why the use cannot occur within the carport. • To remove the brick from the wall, access to the wall is necessary for the workers to perform the task of removing the brick and then installing the new siding. The carport is not adjacent to this wall. The carport can be used to store and stack materials. If the use is approved to be closed overnight, a plan/note will be required that states all traffic control devices shall be retro-reflective. • All traffic control devices shall be retro-reflective. 3) Clearly show what erosion control measures will be implemented. Please show and add a note to the plans that filter socks will be added to any catch basins around/downstream from the construction site. Incorporate and reference City standard detail ER-902 . Address rainwater/discharge from any dumpsters proposed within the right-of-way. • Brick is planned to be removed daily via a truck and trailer. No dumpsters are proposed within the right- of-way. Address the dust from the removal of the brick. • Brick will be sprayed with water, as necessary, to minimize dust during removal process. HEPA filter vacuums will be used. Address how dust/debris/material that ends up on the ground will be managed such that it does not end up in the storm system or Puget Sound. • Dust control measures previously mentioned will be implemented to minimize dust. Debris and materials will be picked up throughout the duration of the job and at the end of each day. HEPA filter vacuums will be used. To address water runoff, all catch basins around/downstream from the construction site will have filter socks added. Additionally, the Puget sound to the West is protect from runoff due to the grass berm in Olympic Park to the West of the Construction site.
