Chris,
I received your correction notice for Emerald Place permit application # FIR2024-0092. In your Fire
Comment Letter, it looks like you are requiring the building to be brought up to current code? This
location has an existing Silent Knight 5208 Fire Alarm Control panel. These panels are expandable with
Relay and Input zone expanders. We're not installing, replacing, or upgrading the panel. Our plan here is
to install the 5217 Zone Expander, an optional accessory as per the Silent Knight 5208 manual, to add the
input zones we need to be able to add the machine room heat, smoke, and multi -voltage relay for Shunt
Power fail, as well as the Pit heat to the existing system.
This is the same scenario we had approved for Avalon at Edmonds Permit # FIR2024-0073, with the
exception that the zone expander for the Silent Knight 5207 had already been installed on that system.
