Scope Of Work:
B&H Fire and Security proposes to replace Fire Alarm Control Panel with new addressable Silent Knight
panel. B&H Fire and security also proposes the following to bring building up to code per email sent
from Chris Bert the Edmonds Fire Marshal: replace all initiating devices that are listed compatible
devices with the new fire alarm control panel, Replace all corridor horns with compatible horn strobes,
install smoke detectors throughout the corridors, install exterior horn strobe, and install a remote
annunciator inside the front door. No audible visual upgrades proposed inside the condos at this time.

not sure what information your fire alarm WBO contractor might be looking for, but thought I'd pass along to you the
following (which you might want to pass along to your fire alarm WBO contractor):
Snohomish County Deputy Fire Marshal Chris Burt paid a visit to our building on Friday afternoon (January 27). He
said he had been contacted by a wbo fire alarm contractor asking what would be required for our fire panel/system
upgrade, especially what might be needed inside the 19 residential units.
Chris did a walkthrough of one of the units and asked some questions. Here's what he wrote in an email to the
other wbo contractor:
"I stopped by the building and spoke to the HOA president and the tenant in charge of the elevator refresh. I
checked their condo units and there is notification in each condo. So no upgrades are necessary in the units. The
common corridors will need horn strobes added. Currently there are bells only. Smoke detectors are also required in
the corridors. There are smokes to release the fire doors and for the elevator recall so it shouldn't require very many
more to complete the corridors. A remote annunciator will be required inside the front door. Knox box will be
required for access. They have an old key box we are phasing out near the front door intercom system. One
exterior horn strobe will be required near the front doors facing 3rd

discuss/explain his views on the fire alarm upgrade requirements.
