TO ATTACH THE JOISTS TO THE LEDGER AND THE BEAM.
SIMPSON HUG410Z BRACKETS WILL BE USED FOR
ATTACHING THE OUTSIDE RIM JOISTS TO THE LEDGER. THE
INSIDE 4 CORNERS OF THE DECK WHERE THE OUTSIDE RIM
JOISTS MEET THE LEDGER AND THE BEAM WILL BE
REINFORCED WITH SIMPSON L90Z BRACKETS. WHERE THE
TWO POSTS ATTACH TO THE RIM JOISTS/BEAMS 4
SIMPSON AG4Z BRACKETS WILL BE USED TO ATTACH THE
TOPS OF THE 4X4 PT POSTS TO THE RIM JOISTS/BEAMS.
THE AG4Z BRACKETS WILL BE HELD TO THE
JOISTS/BEAMS USING SIMPSON 1.5" SDR9112 SD
CONNECTOR SCREWS.
THE KNEE BRACES WILL BE ATTACHED TO THE 4X4 PT

THE GLAZING PRODUCT BEING USED FOR THE WINDOWS
WILL BE SEALED IN USING PROSOGO FAST FLASH WHILE
GAPS UP TO '/i' WILL BE FILLED WITH PROSOGO JOINT AND
SEAM. THE PROSOGO PRODUCTS ARE LIQUID GLAZING
PRODUCTS THAT GAN BE USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH
METAL FLASHING= PRODUCTS. THE DOOR WILL BE
GLAZED/FLASHED IN THE SAME FASHION, HOWEVER,
THERE WILL BE A FIXED METAL FLASHING PIECE
COMBINED WITH THE PROSOGO PRODUCT THAT WILL
SERVE AS A DAM AT THE BASE OF THE DOOR. THE
PROSOGO PRODUCT WILL BE THEN SEALED ONTO/OVER
THE EXISTING 60 MINUTE VAPOR BARRIER. AFTER THIS
PROCESS, WHERE THE PREPPED WINDOW AND DOOR
OPENINGS HAVE CURED, THE WINDOW AND DOOR WILL
THEN BE SEALED EACH INTO THEIR OPENINGS ON THE TOP
AND BOTH SIDES WHILE LEAVING THE BOTTOM OPEN TO
WEEP.
