RE: Building Permit Application #BLD2024-0685 — 821 Bell St
To whom it may concern:
6. Symbols for post and trimmers conflict in plan at HDR-1 and the schedule provided. Clarify and/or correct as
necessary.
Response: Trimmers of HDR-1 revised.
7. The header schedule calls out HDR-4; however, this is not indicated on any of the framing plans or structural
calculations provided. Clarify and/or correct as required.
Response: The schedule is revised.
8. It appears there are existing fenestrations at the Rec Room and Kitchen that will be widened as a part of the
project; however, the revised framing and structural requirements have not been identified. Indicate framing
and/or structural revisions for this work as required.
Response: The header placement in the architectural plan was used & FB-1 is calculated and detailed for second
floor framing plan.
9. It appears new headers are identified on the roof plan (ie HDR & RHDR-1). Clarify and/or correct the scope of
work of the roof and framing.
Response: Roof framing plan revised.
10. A shear wall schedule is provided; however, there is no indication of the shear wall(s) in plan. Correct and/or
clarify as required.
Response: Since there is no change in the existing structure, there is no need to change the existing shearwalls.
But the newly added shearwall parts must be swl as seen in the legend. (ALL NEW EXTERIOR WALLS SHALL
BE SW1 UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE.).
