This memo summarizes my responses to the various structural items shown on the City of Edmonds
Corrections Notice dated February 9, 2022.
Sheet Comment and Response
S1.0 2) The plans refer to IBC section 109 for special inspection requirements. The correct
section is 110. Correct the reference on sheet S1.0 to reflect the correct section.
Note 8 addressing special inspection requirements has been updated accordingly.
S2.0 15) The footing thickness in detail 4 does not meet the minimum requirements for
footing depth. R403.1.3.4 Interior Bearing Footings requires the bottom offooting
to be 12 " minimum below top of slab. Correct detail 4 to reflect the required depth
Detail 4/S2.0 has been updated to comply with the International Residential Code.
