General scope of revisions
The homeowners decided to downsize the scope of this project prior to breaking ground. The new living
area that was being added by enclosing the area under the existing covered entry is no longer being added.
The existing covered entry area will remain as is. There are also miscellaneous changes to the proposed
interior floor plan layout including new window sizes and locations.
Planning division revisions
There are no changes to the proposed footprint of the structure since the living area being deleted was
under an existing roof. The lot and building coverage calculations have not changed.
Building division revisions
The following list of changes have been made to the drawings as part of this design revision. All changes
have been clouded and noted as Revision 2.
Sheet A1.1 - Proposed new living area was changed to 636 sq. ft.
Sheet A2.1 - The area of the house to be demolished was revised.
Sheet A2.2 - The new floor plan shows a new kitchen in the existing kitchen location with new windows
on the exterior wall. An existing bathroom that was being removed will remain. (Bath 1) There is a new
hallway/ door configuration into Bed 2. A window in the M Bath was eliminated and the other window is
a taller unit. The French doors in the M Bed are larger and the two side windows were eliminated. There
were changes to several of the interior door styles and miscellaneous changes to interior dimensions that
do not affect the structural design. The door and window schedules were revised accordingly.
Sheet A2.3 - Shows the existing covered entry roof with posts below.
Sheets A3.1 and 3.2 - Shows the existing covered entry roof with posts below. Also shows the revised
windows and French doors.
Sheet A4.1 - Shows the existing covered entry roof with posts below.
Sheet S2.1 - Information related to the new enclosed porch foundation, entry slab on grade and floor
framing and revisions to the interior ceiling bearing walls was eliminated. Crawl space venting
calculations for the new enclosed porch were struck through. The existing slab on grade at the existing
entry location was added. New posts and pads are shown at the revised hallway configuration area.
Sheet S2.2 - Information related to the new enclosed porch headers, roof beam and shear wall was
eliminated. Interior bearing wall information was eliminated at the living room and kitchen areas. A
smaller header was sized for the M Bed French door opening. New headers and posts were sized for the
kitchen windows and revised hallway bearing line.
Revised structural calculations have been uploaded.
