THIS I::DEETME, made this 3rd day of June A.D.1932 between. Amanda C. Yost, a widow hereinafter
called the Grantor, party of the first part, and PUG:T SOUND POWER & LIGHT COYPAIIY, a Hassachusetts
corporation, hereinafter called the Grantee, party of the second part, RITI:ESSETH:
That the Grantor, for and in consideration of the sum of One and no/100 Dollars, (41.00) paid
by the Grantee to the Grantor, receipt whereof is hereby acln:owledged, hereby conveys and grants
to the Grantee, its successors and assigns, the right, privilege and authority to construct,erect,
alter, improve, repair, operate and maintain an electric transmission and distribution line,
consistin- of a single line of poles, with necessary braces, guys and anchors, and to place upon
or suspend from such poles transmission, distribution and signal wires, insulators, cross -arms,
transformers, and other necessary or convenient appurtenances, across, over and upon the following
dcecribed lands and premises situated in the County of Snohomish, State of Washington, tc-wit:
Beginning at the northwest corner of the ::.E.J, of Section 24, Twp. 27 North, Range 3 East of
W.Y., thence north on the quarter section line 138.6 feet for a point of beginning; thence westerly
tit an angle of 710 391 a distance of 629 feet; thence south on a line parallel with said quarter
section line 244.4 feet; thence easterly on a line parallel with the quarter section line when
extended 600 feet; thence northerly c.% said quarter section line 50'feet to the place oiad"WI,
ginning;, being a part of Lot 4 of Section 13, Twp. 27 North, Range 3 Fast of W.M. The center line
of said transmission and distribution line to be located as follows: As now located, or as may
hereafter be relocated or extended by mutual consent of the Parties hereto. Together with the
right at all times to the Grantee, its successors and assigns, of ingress to and egress from
said lands across adjacent lands of the Grantor for the purpose of constructing, reconstructing,
repairing, renewing;, altering, changing, patrolling; and operating said line, and the light at
any time to remove said poles, wires and appurtenances from said lands.
Also the right to the Grantee, its successors and assigns, at all times to cut all brush and
timber, and trim all trees standini; or growing upon said lands which, in the opinion of the Grantee,
constitute a menace or danger to said line.
The Grantor, her heirs., successors or assi[;::s, covenants and agrees that she will not do any
blastint; or discharge any explosives within a distance of three hundred (300) feet of said line
without iving reasonable notice in writing to the Grantee, its successors or assigns, of inten-
tion so to do.
The rights, title, privile-as and authority hereby granted shall continue and be in force
until such time as the Grantee, its successors or assigns, shall permanently remove said poles,
wires and appurtenances from said lands, �2r shall otherwise permanently abandon said line, at
which time all such rights, title, privileges and authority hereby granted shall terminate.
