Dear Ms. Nelson:
An applicant proposes to construct a single-family residence at 15724 72nd Avenue West in
Edmonds, Washington (site). The proposed building site is located in the North Edmonds
Earth Subsidence and Landslide Hazard Area.
At the City of Edmonds' (City) request, Landau Associates, Inc. (Landau) reviewed the
applicant's permit submittal package for completeness. The purpose of Landau's review was
to confirm that the submittal package includes all of the information listed in Section
19.10.030 of the Edmonds Community Development Code (ECDC).
The completeness review was completed in accordance with the scope outlined in Task Order
No. 22-01 of the 2022 On -Call Geotechnical Engineering Services Agreement between the City
and Landau.
In Landau's opinion, the submittal package contains all of the required documents in Section
19.10.030 of the ECDC. Landau did not complete a third -party geotechnical review of the
applicant's submittal package and cannot comment on the adequacy of the information
therein.
