DISCLOSURE LETTER: GEOTECHNICAL HAZARD IDENTIFICATION/DECLARATION &
MITIGATION STATEMENT OF RISK
Dear Reviewer,
This disclosure letter fulfills requirement five of the Permit Submittal Checklist (ESDC 19.10.030). This
memo has been drafted by the civil design team, LDC, Inc. and addresses the provisions of ECDC 23.80
for geologically hazardous areas.
• LDC is aware of the existence of and special conditions that pertain within the ESHLA zone.
• LDC has reviewed the Geotechnical report prepared by Geotech Consultants Inc. and used its
recommendations as the basis of the design. Please refer to the geotechnical reports and the disclosure
letter provided by Geotech Consultants Inc for the specific provisions of mitigations.
• In my professional judgement, the proposed Civil Engineering design utilizes the best available science
and commonly accepted engineering practice to minimize, to the extent possible, the risks associated
with development of the property.
