GRADING & DRAINAGE NOTES Lot is to be graded for new building, driveway, parking and patios to be placed as shown. This is the only grading proposed. Stockpiles to Be Covered in 24 Hours. Roof discharge will be downspouts to 4" PVC Pipe and Clean -outs per SD-619 and an Infiltration Trench per SD-636 and section detail. Any disturbed areas outside proposed impervious is to have 6" of topsoil placed over all disturbed areas per BMP T5.13. Estimated for proposed disturbance is 62 CY. Refer to City of Edmonds handout #E72 C table 1, option 2. If the rim to invert elevation exceeds 5-feet then a type II manhole will be required. A special inspection from the Geotech will be required for any areas where the construction entrance is located over the planned infiltration trench. This is to ensure that the soils at the base of the infiltration trench are able to infiltrate at the specified infiltration rate. RESTORATION NOTES Restoration of utility patches as follows: i. Utility patches with less than 20-feet of separation shall be combined and full width or half width overlay will be required depending on the extent of disturbance. Where utility patches fall entirely within one travel lane, the overlay shall extend to the centerline of roadway. Where utility patches extend into both travel lanes then a full width overlay is required. ii. All final restoration within the right-of-way shall be completed by the contractor not the City of Edmonds. iii. Asphalt cuts for the curb are shown on the plans as expected. Any required asphalt cuts shall be verified and identified at the Pre -Con meeting. Final restoration required by the COE will be determined during restoration inspection. iv. The City will cut and cap the existing line, and move the water service line for the new/relocated water meter at the main; however, the developer of the subject site will be responsible for the final restoration for the new service being cut and capped and the cut for the new tap.
