At your request and authorization, Cobalt Geosciences, LLC was on site to observe soil bearing at
the address referenced above.
The excavation is within roughly a 50-ft by 6o-ft area with cuts no taller than 3-ft. Soil bearing is
adequate with penetration of an inch into dense native soils using a steel T-probe.
It is recommended that if any loose soil develops between now and when footings are poured that
they are removed and filled back in with clean angular rock or more concrete.
