In accordance with your authorization, Cobalt Geosciences, LLC has prepared a final letter for the
project. During construction, we visited the site to confirm the following aspects of construction:
• Soil bearing verification; We confirmed suitable bearing soils were present in foundation
areas.
• Infiltration system soils; We visited the site and confirmed outwash sands were present at
the planned infiltration system locations.
• Fill placement and compaction; We visited the site upon completion and probed minor
filled areas near the building. All areas were firm and unyielding and confirmed to be
suitable and well compacted.
• Slab on grade preparation; As above, the fill in slab areas was well compacted. Native
soils were medium dense and capillary break was placed per plan.
• Monitor foundation drainage placement; We confirmed drainage placement around the
building per plan.
• Excavation stability; We did not observe instability in foundation or other excavations.
It is our opinion that the construction was performed in general accordance with the
recommendations in the geotechnical report. No issues were noted.
