Dear Donavan,
In response to our two telephone discussions and one meeting at Development Services, I
am submitting our 2018 Washington State Energy Code Residential questionnaire
documenting our compliance with the State's prescriptive path for Residential Additions less
than 500 SF (320 SF) by installing solar panels and complying with the State's prescriptive
requirements for 1.5 energy credits. I was not able to complete part of the questionnaire
due to the Owners need to see contractors' prices before deciding what they can afford
and want to buy.
We hope this submission will permit your conditional approval to secure the project's vesting
before the 2018 code is updated with the understanding that final approval and permit
issuance would depend on our subsequent submission and your approval of any remaining
required information. Thank you for helping me to better understand this process.
