Copies of the drawings affected by any changes are attached and have been clouded for the ease of the plans reviewer. Plumbing Comments: Sheet P2.0 a) The 6" RD piping from area drains (exterior of building) have been rerouted to sump pump SP-4 to provide necessary elevation lift so it can be terminated in the storm water detention vault at the correct height. b) The plumbing fixtures on the parking level were rerouted to sump pump SP-3, because the vertical drop was not adequate as designed. The sump pump will discharge to the 8" sewer exiting the building at the Trash Room. c) The previous parking lot drain was changed to sump pump SP-2, to provide adequate elevation to connect to the sand and oil interceptor SO1-1 in the Trash Room. 2. Sheet P3.0, and P6.1 a. Water meters were added to the Hot Water lines in the Boiler room. One meter will serve the commercial kitchen and one meter will serve the resident's hot water. 3. Sheet P3.2, P3.5, and P6.3 a. The hot water distribution loops, for the resident's hot water supply, was changed. Previously there was a HW distribution loop on the 2nd floor, serving floors 2 and 3, and there was a HW distribution loop on the 51h floor, serving floors 4, 5, and 6. This did not comply with WSEC hot water distance to a fixture, so the design has been changed to provide hot water risers at each fixture to reduce the piping distance to the fixture. The Permit Response for Anthology of Edmonds • June 29, 209' Page 1 of 2 hot water distribution list on the 5t" floor has been changed to a hot water recirculation loop, where the hot water risers terminate at flow control devices. The hot water in the loop is then routed back down to the Boiler room. See revised Hot Water riser diagrams on sheet P6.3 for sizing and detail.
