CG Engineering was retained by Marc Adams to evaluate the framing installation for a dry rot repair. The building is a
townhouse located at 20815 761h Ave W, Edmonds, WA 98026. The existing building is a two-story building with tuck -
under parking and is framed with wood members supported on wood framed walls and wood beams.
The wood joists were not framed in accordance with the structural drawings by CG Engineering dated 8/20/24 and
additional framing will be required to resolve the issue. A new 2x10 HF#2 joist shall be installed beside the existing
2x10 joist that has a splice at its midspan. The new joist span between the beams and shall bear on top of them.
Please contact CG Engineering if there are any discrepancies with this memorandum.
