The subject application has been reviewed but cannot be completed until the
following items have been addressed/completed. Please submit the following items
to the Development Services Permit Coordinator and the Pretreatment Reviewer.
1. Fully drawn and expanded plumbing plans are required. These plans must show
the fixtures connected to the grease trap (GT) with a dedicated waste line. Also, a
gray water waste line must be drawn on the plans for the fixtures not connected to
the grease trap.
2. A signed GT sizing sheet is required before the plumbing permit can be issued.
Please contact me for assistance. Attached is the City of Edmonds Grease Trap &
Grease Interceptor Permit Submittal Requirements Forms (B-54).
3. Please note the minimum grease trap size required in 35 GPM.
4. These fixtures must be connected to the GT:
3 comp sink (follow County Health Department standards for isolating the
sanitize sink from the GT by either including a funnel/air gap or dedicated
plumbing line to the gray water waste line (see Health Department for specific
standards).
Meat prep sink
Do not connect to the GT:
■ Mop sink
■ Vegetable prep sink
■ Hand sink
■ Dishwasher, if included in kitchen
■ Floor drains
