To Whom It May Concern:
The attached submission is a post -permit revision to the 310 Daley
Townhouses project, BLD2022-1329. We are providing this cover
letter to describe the proposed changes.
First, this revision includes updated structural plans showing the
entry recess for Unit A. This recess was added to the architectural
plans near the end of the permit process, and the city allowed the
permits to be issued with the understanding that the updated
structural plans would be treated as a deferred submittal. Their
inclusion here satisfies this condition of approval.
Second, this revision proposes changes to the building's exterior
siding materials. The original design utilized a combination of brick
veneer, plaster, lap siding and detail panels. The new design
removes the brick veneer and adds a faux board and batten material.
It continues to use the previously approved plaster, lap siding and
detail panels. Also, the roof has been revised from standing seam
metal to asphalt composition shingles.
Finally, this revision includes a change to the balcony on the north
elevation of Unit A. The fabricator has advised us that they are unable
to provide a balcony of the original dimensions, so it has been
reduced to the largest size they can provide. The smaller balcony has
been centered on the second story fenestration to preserve the
attractiveness of the original design.
The submission includes only the sheets that were revised. If you
have any questions, please feel free to contact our office.
