City of Edmonds Representative in Attendance: Megan Luttrell, Todd Tatum
Guests: Whitney Popa, Tristine Brennan (Lil Bipsy), Beth Sanger (Ombu), Rachel Gardner
(Musicology), Michelle (Edmonds Bookshop), Liz Lee (Anchor Chic, Multicultural Asso of
Edmonds), Lina Lu ( Multicultural Asso of Edmonds), Jim Cline (Charlston Business District,
Bremerton Main St Asso.)
President's Report: Kimberly presented. We are looking for more board members and
executive officers, please refer any interested parties. Need VP, Secretary, and Treasurer in
April.
Treasurer's Report: Treasurer's report, no new numbers this month, will report in Feb.
New Businesses Added to BID: None to report this month, will have some next month.
City Report: Todd- Budget passed. Lots of cuts. Please let the city and Todd know if residents
and business owners have trouble with any city services. Annexation into the South County
Fire District will be on the next ballot. Last Sat of Jan, Feb, March, April Winter Market will be
on.
Chamber Program: Chamber Foundation looking for board members, especially
Committee Updates
Admin: Kimberly $1050 operating expenses, Misc supplies $150, $1200 total. Moved
by Kimberly, Seconded by Jen. Discussion, Unanimous approval. BID refresh, Board
openings.
Marketing: Kimberly- Cupid Stroll for Feb 81h. Winter Budget $500 for social media and
collateral. Moved by Kim, seconded by Cheryl. Discussion, unanimous approval.
Multicultural Association of Edmonds reported on Lunar New Year, report by Jennifer
Cullen and Lina Lu. Lanterns and posters up on Jan 15th. Feb 1 is the actual event. Red
envelope walk. Market will also be going on at Civic Field. Tea garden. Seattle Go
center. Merch will be available. ECA will be the event itself, 11:00-1:00 parade & Lion
Dance from ECA to Civic field. Trolly running that day. Evening fundraiser for
Multicultural Asso 6-8PM at Cascadia Art Museum, ticketed event $100 ticket.
Donations, raffle basket, appreciated. Liz Lee reported on the Red Envelope walk.
• Communication and Outreach: Reported by Sheila, outreach restarting. My Edmonds
News Budget $330 moved by Sheila, Jen Seconded, discussion, unanimous approval.
• Appearance & Environment: No meeting this month. Cheryl reported on
Map/wayfinding project still active.
• New Business: Jim Cline asked what type of org we are, Kimberly discussed our
exploration of becoming a Main Street asso or restructuring the BID.
