Dear Ms. Nelson:
An applicant proposes to construct a single-family residence at 15604 75th Place West in Edmonds,
Washington. The location of the proposed residence is in the North Edmonds Earth Subsidence and
Landslide Hazard Area.
At the City of Edmonds' (City's) request, Landau Associates, Inc. (Landau) reviewed the applicant's
permit submittal package for completeness. The purpose of Landau's review was to confirm that the
submittal package includes all of the information listed in Section 19.10.030 of the Edmonds
Community Development Code (ECDC). The review was completed in accordance with the scope
outlined in Task Order No. 23-05 of the 2023 On -Call Geotechnical Engineering Services Agreement
between the City and Landau.
In Landau's opinion, the applicant's submittal package contains all of the requisite documents in
Section 19.10.030 of the ECDC. Landau has not completed a third -party geotechnical review of the
submittal package and cannot comment on the adequacy of any information therein.
