After reviewing the required remodel permit submittal documents, it was determined that a number of
documents do not apply to this project. Below is a simple explanation of documents not required.
3) Energy (WSEC).
This is a simple renovation project, with only an exterior change of replacing the master bedroom
widows to a slider.
4) Mechanical
No mechanical work is proposed. All room spaces (bedrooms, bathrooms, living, etc.) remain
unchanged.
5) Demolition
This is a simple renovation with partition wall relocations. The demolition is not an amount equal to 75
percent or more of the house replacement cost.
6) Asbestos Abatement
This is not a complete structure demolition, and the renovation area is less than 400 sq. ft. and with a
valuation of $10,000.
7) Electric Vehicle (EV) Ready
This is a simple renovation with partition wall relocations. The improvement is not equal to 50 percent
or more of the house replacement cost.
8) Material Management
This renovation/alteration area which is less than 400 sq ft. and with a valuation of $10,000.
