Hi, Denise,
I am writing to request an extension of the due date for the building permit application associated with BLD2023-0692, the Edmonds Greenhill townhouse project. Given the current circumstances,
we kindly ask for an extension of the due date to the end of January 2025 to allow us sufficient time to finalize the process.
We understand that the city has been experiencing staffing shortages, which have caused delays in reviewing submitted plans and, in turn, impacted the timeline of our project. Additionally,
we only received the final review feedback from your department yesterday, leaving us with limited time to address the financial aspects of the project with banks and contractors, which
takes time as it involves reviewing budgets, securing approvals, and ensuring all parties are aligned. With the upcoming holiday season, it is especially difficult to predict when banks
and contractors will be able to respond and complete their portions of the process.
Given these factors, we respectfully request that the city consider extending the deadline for our building permit application. We greatly appreciate your understanding and assistance
in this matter. Please let us know if any additional information or documentation is required to process this request.
