1. CALL TO ORDER
The Edmonds Council Public Safety, Planning, Human Services, and Personnel (PSPHSP)
Committee meeting was called to order virtually and in the City Council Conference Room,
121 – 5th Avenue North, Edmonds, at 4:30 pm by Councilmember Nand.
2. COMMITTEE BUSINESS
1. Request to Increase Administrative Assistants from (1.4) to (2.0) FTEs First Reading – Planning
and Development Services
Mike Clugston, Planning Director, requested that Council increase the Full Time
Employment (FTE) of the planning administrative assistants from a total of 1.4 to a total of
2.0.
Committee Recommendation: Move to Consent Agenda
2. Unlicensed Food Vendors First Reading – Planning and Development Services
Brad Shipley, Planning Manager, briefed Council on the potential need for action relating
to unlicensed food vendors and indicated he will bring back a future recommendation to
Council.
Committee Recommendation: Informational
3. Potential Esperance Annexation Workplan Briefing First Reading – Planning and Development
Services
Mike Clugston, Planning Director, and Brad Shipley, Planning Manager, briefed Council on
the mutual benefits of potential annexation of Esperance.
