CALL TO ORDER The Edmonds Council Parks and Public Works (PPW) Committee meeting was called to order virtually and in the City Council Conference Room, 121 – 5th Avenue North, Edmonds, at 3:00 pm by Councilmember Olson. 2. COMMITTEE BUSINESS 1. Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) First Reading – Parks, Recreation and Human Services Angie Feser, Parks & Recreation Director, provided an overview of the Parks portion of the Capital Improvement Plan. Committee Recommendation: Informational 2. Report on Bids and Award of Construction Contract for the 7th Ave Pedestrian Improvement Project First Reading – Engineering Ryan Hague, Stormwater Engineer, reported the bids and award of contract regarding the 7th Ave pedestrian improvement project to Council. Committee Recommendation: Move to Consent Agenda 3. Presentation of PSA for Phase 7 Stormwater Replacement Project Design Services First Reading – Engineering Ryan Hague, Stormwater Engineer, presented on the professional services agreement for the project design of the Phase 7 Stormwater Replacement Project. Authorization to Purchase International HV507 Dump Truck First Reading – Public Works and Utilities Andy Rheaume, Public Works Director, requested that Council move the authorization to purchase a dump truck to the next consent agenda. Committee Recommendation: Move to Consent Agenda 5. Joint Resolution of Edmonds and Mountlake Terrace City Councils - Requesting Snohomish County 2027/2028 Biennium REET First Reading – City Council Office Councilmember Olson provided the background into the need for a resolution requesting that real estate excise tax (REET) funds go towards pool maintenance in South Snohomish County.
