Meeting called to order: 8:04
Approval of Previous Meeting's Minutes (May): Jen Lawson makes a motion to
approve, Brandon 2nds. Motion passes.
Public Comment: Porchfest Hosts Needed - Liz Morgan, Edmonds Art festival party is on
June 17th at the plaza - Beth Sanger.

Public Comment:
President's Report
Bike Lanes:
Council lowered the priority of bike lanes after the robust council meeting. Refresh will include
more knowledge of upcoming plans.
Chamber Updates:
Sheila and Carrie have a monthly with the Chamber
Holiday Lights - The chamber was asked by the city to help solution for the lack of city funding
for the street lights. The chamber secured private donations for lamppoles and wreaths for
2025. There currently isn't funding for street lights for the holidays for 2026.
Brandon - having cohesive lighting is important from a financial standpoint, private
donations are good for now but are not secure from year to year. Need to establish
process and expectations from year to year.
Megan - Could be an opportunity for lodging and tourism grants. She will do some
research and will loop back in July.
World Cup/FIFA:
Lower than expected hotel reservations. Merch links are on Explore and Ed! Website.
Treasurers Report: No numbers from May yet.
New Business in BID:

City Report:
Megan - Todd's last day was on Tuesday. New City Administrator is scheduled to start on
June 29th. Megan is working on moving Economic Development under Planning &
Development. This is beneficial as there is transparency around understanding city code,
etc.Megan would love to be a part of the conversation with Ed and the Chamber regarding
holiday lighting and other matters. The budget process is starting soon and she has not yet
heard when the process is launching.
Admin/Committee Updates:
Admin -
Sheila - 2027/28 budget is being worked on.
Marketing -
Carrie dropped off all Lovin' Summer items to Crow. Feel free to pick up items from Crow if you
need/want them.
Trolley went well for 2025 - a question to the BID is if they want to keep the trolley.
Marketing team should be looped in on the lighting discussion.
Communication and Outreach -
Zone leader map has been drawn up. Carrie will send out and will ask which zone people would
like. We need documentation of the responsibilities of "zone leaders". Carrie to create and send
out a list of zone leaders, their zones, and their responsibilities.
Sheila moved to sponsor PorchFest and give $500. Ricky seconds the motion. Motion passes to
donate $500 to PorchFest Edmonds
Appearance & Environment -
Being paused. This committee time will be spent on research and exploration of Main Street.
