PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
EDMONDS CITY COUNCIL
On September 8, 2026, at 6:00pm, the Edmonds City Council will hold a public hearing
regarding the following topic:
CONSIDER AMENDMENTS TO EDMONDS COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT CODE (ECDC) CHAPTER 17.130 TO REGULATE
LANDMARK TREES, REDUCE CANOPY LOSS RESULTING FROM TREE
REMOVALS NOT ASSOCIATED WITH DEVELOPMENT, AND TO
ACHIEVE GREATER CODE CONSISTENCY AND CLARITY.
Staff and council members will attend the hearing virtually via Zoom; members of the
