Topic: Westgate Neighborhood Center Comprehensive Plan Land Use Designation and Zoning
Map Amendments
Date: Tuesday, October 13, 2026
The City Council will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments to the City's
Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Map and Official Zoning Map affecting four parcels near
the Westgate Neighborhood Center. The proposal would change the parcels' Future Land Use
designation from Planned Neighborhood to Westgate Center and replace the interim Planned
Business (BP) zoning with Neighborhood Center and Hub (NCH) zoning. The amendments are
being considered through the 2026 Comprehensive Plan docket to establish permanent land
use and zoning designations for the parcels.
The public hearing as part of its regular meeting. The City Council meeting begins at 6:00 PM.
The public hearing will commence shortly after the beginning of the meeting as other Council
business permits.
