ORDINANCE NO.11.
An Ordinance to provide for licensing and regulating the keep-
ing of gaming tables and bowling alleys.
Be it ordained by the Council of the Town of Edmonds.
'G�y zt SECTIW 1: ihat any person desiring a license to keep one or

alleys, billiard tables, pool tables, pigeon -hole
r -e� tables or Jen.' rind tables, for hire, shall first pay into the
fiatl && tf Town Treasury a license fee therefor as follows:
For each bowling alley, at the rate of six dollars per annum;
for each billiard table, at the rate of six dollars per annum; fDr
each pool table, at the rate of six dollars per annum; for each
pigeon hole table, at LFhe rate of six dollars per annum; for each

per annum.
Jenny Lind table, at the rate of six dollars,^ And upon filing
the Treasurer's receipt for the amount of any such fee for a
period of not less than three months with the town Clerk, said
Clerk shall issue the proper license permit for such party for
not less than three months.
SECTION 2: That any person who shall keep any billiard table,
bowling alley, pool table, pigeon hole table, Jenny Lind table,orr�p;xz�.
any other Gameing table in a drinking saloon or house, or any
room or building adjouning or attached thereto, or in any manner �2
connected thereto, and shall allow the same to be issued by two ors
more persons to determine by play thereon which of the personas
playing shall pay for drinks, cigars or any other article for,
sale in such saloon or drinking house, shell, within the meaning�J--!
of this. Ordinance be deemed to be keeping the same for hire, and on,shall be subject to license as in this Ordinance provided.
SECTION 3: That every person, who by himself or any agent
or e:aployee,shall, within the limits of the Town of Edmonds keep/
any bowling alley, pool table, pigeon hole table, billiard table ).�2C�1 /
or Jenny Zind table without license therefor,shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction thereof, shall be fined
in any s u m not less than ten dollars, nor more than fifty
dollars.
SECTION 4: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage, approval and publication.
