An Ordinance fixing the salaries and defining the duties of certain

Officers of the Town of Edmonds.
Be it ordained by the Council of the Town of Edmonds.
SECTION 1: That the duties of the Town Clerk for the Town of
Edmonds, shall be such as are now, or may hereafter, be prescribed
by law or by Ordinance heretofore passed, or which may hereafter
be passed by the Council of the Town of Edmonds.
SECTION 2: The Town Clerk shall receive as full compensation 64111A
for the duties of Town and Assessor, the sum of $10.00 per month, s)"ems,"
said salary to be paid at the end of each month.
SECTION 3: That the duties and compensation of Town Treasurer
shall be those prescribed by law.
SECTION 4: The duties and compensation of the Town Marshal
shall be those prescribed by law.
SECTION 5: The duties of the Street CofMissioner shall be
those authorized by the Council, and the plaQe receive as eompensa-r
tion for his services the sum of $2.50 per day, when ordered to wark
by the Council, to be paid at the end of each month.
SECTION 6: The duties of the Town Attorney shall be those ZpI4"2
prescribed by law, and that he shell attend the meetings of the
Council and give advice to the Council whenever requested. He
shall receive as a compensation for his services the of Two Hundrel
($200) Dollars per year to be paid quarterly.
SECTION 7: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage, approval and publication. .,
Passed'by the Council of the Town of Edmonds this seventh day
of February 1893.
