An Ordinance amending Section 3 of an Ordinance to provide for
the payment of interest on Town Warrants.
Be it ordained by the Uouncil of the Town of Edmonds.
SECTIO-d 1: That Section 3 of an Ordinance to provide for the
payment of interest on Town Warrants-, Ho. 33, be and the same is
hereby amended so as to read as follows:
Section 3. All Warrants shall be paid in -the order in which
theyare numbered, and on the first day of each month the Town a4g_
Treasurer shall give notice as to what Warrants he can pay, giving L�� 3
the number and date of the Warrants, and that if not presented for 36
payment within ten days after the date, mentioned in said notice,
no interest, after said date, will be allowed or paid on said
Warrants. Said notice or notices may be published in a newspaper,
published in said Town, or posted in three conspicuous places in
said Town.
SECTIO-d 2: All ordinances conflicting with the provisions of
this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Passed by the Council the first
