An Ordinance providing for the regulation of bicycle riding in
the Town of Edmonds, Wash.
Be it ordaired by the Council of the Town of Edmonds, Wash.
SECTIOU 1: That r.o person shall be allowed to ride a bicycle'." _,'r,�,�e J
or a tricycle or the sidewalks or foot paths in the Town of Edmond.:, /
Washington to the detriment or inconvenience of pedestrians or per-
sons on foot.
SECTIOU 2: Wherever a persona is ridir_g a bicycle or tricycle,
on the sidewalks or foot paths it the Town of Edmonds, and shall
meet a person or persors on foot, or wishes to pass any person:
behind, the person ridirg the bicycle shall -leave the sidevialk or
foot path and shall rot disturb the pers or'or persons or foot it -
ary vray either by ringing a bell or otherwise.
SECTIOT= 3: That any persor_:violating the provisions of this
Ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be li-
able to a fine not less than One Dollar and rot more than, Twer_ty-
five Dollars, or imprisormert of from one to ter days or both such
fire and im-orisorment in the discretion of the Court.
SECTIOT 4: This Ordinance shall be ir. full force and effect
in five days after its approval by the Mayor and its publicatior.
