An Ordinance approving and accepting the corrected survey and 0�
plan of the waterfront of the Town of Edmonds, made by L.id.Rice,'
Engineer, as indicated by the Plat dated r ovember 30, 1904, and ac-
companying this Ordinance, showing the abutting uplands and ad-
jacent tide lands, as accepted by the Board of the State Land Com-
missioners; also showing Edmonds, Bell, George and Dayton Streets, P141
extending to the inner harbor line of ?uget Sound; and also adopt-
ing said Plat as correcting and amending the former plan of the
water front of the Town of Edmonds, approved by the Mayor and
Council September 19, 1903, and making and adopting the same as
supplemental to the original flat of Edmonds.
Whereas, prior to the second day of Lpril 1903, the Board
Harbor Land Commissioners, located and established in front of
Town of Edmonds, (g Municipal Corporation of the Fourth Class)
inner and an outer harbor line, and

Whereas, the Tide Land Commissioners of Snohomish County, at �S
State of Washingtor, did not extend Edmonds, Bell, George and DlEyton
Streets in said Town of Edmonds, over and across the tide lands in
front of said town; and
Whereas, towit, on the 19th day of September 1903, the Council s
of the said Town of Edmonds, did, by Ordinance, lay out anal extend e��
said streets over and across the tide lards in frort of said Town,�,�
in the manner indicated in the Plat of the plan of the waterfront
of the Town of Edmonds, as surveyed and planned by L.M.Rice, Engineer,
by direction and authority of the Council of the Town of Edmonds,
and presented with said Ordinance showing the abutting upland owners
and the tide lands therefore applied for by them, as purchased by
preference right from the State of Washington; and by said Ordinance
said Council did make and adopt said Plat as supplemental to the
original Plat of Edmonds; and
Whereas, that part of said former Plat of the plan of the water
front of the Town of Edmonds, approved by said Ordinance lying
westerly of the meander line, and extending between the lire of tvie
Southerly side of George Street or the forth, and the lire of the
lortherly side of the waterway or the South, was not approved by YLS
the Board of State Lard Commissioners, who refused to issue cortracts&6_1_
for purchase of the said tide lands, bounded ar_d described by the/L,`�
boundary lines indicated by said portion of said Mat lying between_
George Street and said waterway, as aforesaid; and said Board of
State Lard Commissioners order that a corrected survey and plan of
said waterfront be made, the same to conform with the original
United States Government Survey; and
alereas, it accordance with said order of the Board of State A^44�

Whereas, the Board of State Land (%oniiissior.ers have issued con-
tracts and Deeds of purchase of the tide lards in front of said '11—
Town of Edmords, based upon the descriptiors of the several subdivi-di-Z,do
siors of the tide lands indicated by the lines in said last men.-
tioned plan of said waterfront; and QQ
Whereas, the lines of said last mentioned plan of said water-
frort are made to conform with said original Government Survey.
Therefore, Be it hereby ordained by the Council of the Town of
Edmonds as follows:

SECTI Or 1: That said Flat of said last nenti ored plan of the&
waterfrort of the Town of Edmonds, dated 30, 1904, is ir.
all things accepted, approved and confirmed, a.rA is hereby adapted
as correcting and amending the former plar_ of the waterfront of the
Towr_ of Edmonds, approved by the mayor and Council September 19th,
1903, and it is hereby made and declared to be supplemental to the
original Plat of the Town of Edmonds.
SECTIOI 2: That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and direct
ed to note upon the face of said Plat herewith presented, the ac-
ceptar_ce, approval, and the corfirmatior thereof by the Towr OounciIaA
of the Tovrn of Edmonds, and to affix to said 21at the corporate sealzvyL

�p p SECTICfE, 3: That upon the passage and approval by the Mayor,
�i. Try r upor its becoming a legal ar_d valid Ordinance under the: laws of
• the Stat e of �iashirgt on, said. City Clerk shall file said Plat in
the office of the Coin OA ,Lad! or of Snohomish Uounty, State of
Washirgton.
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after
its passage and approval, if approved by the Mayor; otherwise it
shall take effect at the time it shall become a law under the laws
of the State of Washington.
.Passed the council Lpril 19th, 1906, and signed by me in open

1906, and approved by me on the 19th day of April 1906.
