An Ordinance fixing the salary of the officers of the Town of 'j,,,Ad
Edmonds, and creating the office of Night Watchman, and fixing his
duties and salary.
Be it ordained by the Council of the Town of Edmonds.
SECTION 1: That the Town Treasurer shall receive the fees
allowed him by lava.
SECTION 2: That the Town Clerk shall receive $20.00 per month,e&tj
and he shall, in addition to his regular duties, write all Ordi-
nances required by the Council, that come within his ability.
SECTION 3: That the Town Marshal shall receive $10.00 per c
month, and the same fees that are allowed the Sheriff.
SECTIOU 4: That the Street Commissioner shall receive 34nyynW4,�,jPt7C,'I
per hour for work performed.
SECTION 5: The Health Officer shall receive such compensation �u1
as the Council may prescribe from time to time.
SECTIOT 6: that there be, and is hereby, created the office
of l: i ght Flat c hman .
SECTION 7: That the light Watchman shall patrol the Tour of
Edmonds from sundown to daylight. He shall collect all poll taxes,
dog taxes, show licenses, and light the lamps. cc.�
SECTION 8: That the salary of the Night Watchman shall be ..J
$50.00 per month, and he shall be appointed from month tomor_th,
or longer if the Council sees fit to do so.
SECTIOL 9,- That all ordinances and parts of Ordir_ae ces that
-are in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
