An Ordinance prohibiting chickens from running at large within
certain months, within the City of Edmonds, and providing for a
penalty for the violation th@reof.
The city Council of the City of dmords do ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: That it shall.be unlawful for any person, or per-
sons, to wilfully allow, or permit, chidkers to run at large within'
the limits of the City of Edmonds, between the first day of April
and the first day of October, of each, or any year.
SECTIOI 2: Any person violating the provisions of this Ordi-
nance shall be fined it any sum not exceeding One Dollar, or by '+"-
imprisonment in the City jail not exceeding one day, or by both
such fire and imprisonmert.

SECTIOI 3: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
fron and after its p4Lssage, approval by the Mayor, and its publi-
cation in accordance with law.
Passed the Council and approved this 13th day of April 1910.
