An Ordinance ordering the Improvement of the following Streets,
alleys, and property by constructing a lateral sewer system in and ,
upon said Streets, alleys, and property within the City of Edmords,�
Snohomish County, State of Washington; also by constructing inlets,
catch -basics, manholes, lamp -holes, and doing such other work as
may be necessary in connection therewith, all -in accorda3ma with
the plans and specifications made and prepared by the City Engineer
of the City of Edmonds, and now on file with the City Clerk of said
City and pursuant to Resolution and Intention ho.25 as passed by
the City Council of the City of Edmonds on the 17th day of September
1920, said Streets, alleys and property being particularly described
as follows:
The alley forth of Daley Street from Sixth Street to Seventh
Street; the Alley between Bell Street and MaiT Street from Sixth
to Seventh Street; Alley between Main and Dayton Street from a
point 360 feet East of Sixth Street to Sixth Street; Alley betvweer•
Dayton Street and Maple Street from Sixth Street. to Seventh Street;
Maple Street from Seventh Street to a point 420 feet nest and from
Fifth Street to Sixth Street; Alder Street from Seventh Street to
a point 300 feet West of Sixth Street; Walnut Street from Sixth
Street to Seventh Street; Fifteen (15) foot strip of land the center
line of which is the West line of Lots 7 and 34, Block 94, Plat of
City of Edmonds from Alder Street to Walnut Street; Sixth Street
from the alley Earth of Daley Street to Daley Street; Sixth Street
from Bell Street to the alley South of Bell Street; Sixth Street
from Main Street to Alley South of Main Street; Edmonds Street
fromThird Street to Sixth Street, and from Second Street to alley_
West of Second Street; thence Earth approximately 240 feet; the
Street between Blocks "E" and "I'" of the Plat of the City of Ed-
monds from Fifth Street to Sixth Street; Bell Street fromFifth

Main Street from Fifth Street to Sixth Street; Fifth Street from
Street between Blocks "E" and "F", Plat of the Gity of Edmonds to

Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Edmonds,
Snohomish County, State of Washington, as follows:

ing a lateral sewer system upon the above mentioned streets and
alleys and property.
Also the construction of inlets, catch basins, manholes,
lampholes, and doing such other work as may be necessary in con-
nection therewith, all in accordance with the plans and specifica-
tions now on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of
Edmonds and prepared by the City Engineer of said City and pursu-
ant to Resolution of Intention Fo.25, as passed by the City Council
of the City of Edmonds on the 17th day of September, 1920.
SECTIOI 2: That said improvement will be constructed along
and in front and rear,as the case may be, of the following de-
scribed property which will be affected by said improvement and
which will be included within the improvement district herein-
after created and limited to such property for the purpose of
assessments as hereir.af!:er provided, towit:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Block 93, Plat of the
City of Edmonds; thence Forth along the West line of Seventh
Street to the South lire of Glen Street; thence West along the
South Line of Glen Street to the Wiest line of Sixth Street;

feet Forth of said Street; thence West along a line parallel to

Third Street; therce along the Easterly side of Third Street to
the Forth side of Dailey Street; thence Westerly to an intersec-

parallel to the Forth line of Edmonds Street and 120 feet dis-
tant from said Street to a point 120 feet East of the East lire

West 120 feet to the East line of First Street; thence South
along the East lire of Edmonds Street 136 feet; thence South
900 feet to the South line of Main Street; thence East along the
South side of Main Street 60 feet; thence South 136 feet to the
South line of East and West alley through Block 2; thence West
along said South alley line 60 feet; thence South to the Forth
line of James Street; thence East along the forth line of James
Street to a point of intersection of said line and a line 120
feet distant from and parallel to the West line of Third Street

122 of the Plat of City of Edmonds; thence East along said alley

10 and 11, Block 123 of the Plat of the City of Edmonds to the
Forth line of the alley in Block 123, City of Edmonds Plat; thence
East along said alley line 360 feet to the East line of Sixth
Street; thence South along said street line to the Southwest cor-
ner of Block 93, Plat of the City of Edmonds; thence East along
the South line of Block 93 to the Southeast corner of same, the
true point of beginning less Blocks 99, 100 and 101 of the Plat
of the City of Edmonds.
SECTIOT? 3: That the cost of said improvement above mentioned ,
shall be assessed against the property above described and against
all lots, tracts, and parcels of land lying and being with the
improvement district hereinafter created in proportion to the
benefits derived therefrom as provided by the Ordinances of the
City of Edmonds and the laws of the State of Washington.
SECTIOU 4: That the mode of payment shall be under the "Pay-". "it -
ment by Bond" plan; by which plan Bonds of said district shell be qr7
issued payable in ten equal annual payments or installments with ��11
interest at the rate of eight percent. per annum.
SECTIOr 5-: That the estimated cost of said improvement is
the sum of $37,388.60.
SECTION 6: That there is hereby created a local improvement c/,-9•�
district to be designated and known as "Local Improvement Districts
No. , which shall include all the property hereinbefore de-
scribed in Section Two. qq
SECTIOE 7: That there be and is hereby created a local im-,,rkr/
provement fund to beknown and designated as "Local Improvement
District Fund No. ."
SECTIOU 8: That said improvement shall be made under the di-
rection of the City Council and the City Engineer, and in accord-�
arse with the plans and specifications now on file with the City
Clerk of the City of Edmonds.
SECTION 9: That the Bonds to be issued as hereinbefore pro-
t;vro.
vided may be delivered and sold to the contractor doing the work
of such improvement in payment of his services, or they may be
sold by the City Clerk at private sale, provided, however, that
the returns from the sale of said Bonds must net the par value o
the same plus accrued interest and the proceeds thereof shall be
applied in payment of the costs and expenses of said improvement.
SECTIOE 10: That the special assessments to be levied as �t
hereinbefore described shall be payable in ten equal annual in-
stallments with interest at the rate of eight percent. per anus
and such installments shall be collected in the manner provided
by the general Ordinance of the City ofEdmonds, and the laws of
the State of Washington.
SECTION 11: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after its passage by the City Council eo'af
of the `ity of Edmonds, its approval by the Mayor, ai& its pub-
lication according to law.
Passed by the City Council of Edmonds in regular session this
