An Ordinance approvirg and confirming the assessment and as-
sessment roll of Local Improvement District Lo. 30 for the im-
provement of Alley in Block "H" from Fourth Street to Sixth Street;
also Fourth Street from Edmonds Street to alley in Block "H" in
the -City of -Edmonds, Snohomish County, dash irgton, under Ordinance
no.325, and levying and assessirg the amounts thereof agairtt
the several Lots, Tracts and parcels of land and other property
as shown on said roll, establishing a Local Improvement Fund.
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Edmonds:

SECTI01 1: That the assessment and assessment roll of Local
Improvement District ro. 30 for the improvement of Alley in
Block "H" from Fourth Street to Sixth Street; also'Fourth Street
from Edmonds Street to alley in Block "H", all in the City of
Edmonds, Washington, by corstructing sewers, together with -the
necessary appurtenances"reeessary for the proper drainage of said
district, under'Ordinance Lo.325, as the same now stands, be,
and the same is, hereby in all things approved and confirmed.
SECTIOL 2: That each of the Lots, Tracts and parcels of land
and other property shown upon said roll is hereby declared to be
specially benefited by said improvemer..t in at least the amount
charged agaiim t the same, and that the assessment appearing a-
gairst the same is in proportion to the several assessments ap-
pearirg upon said roll-. There is -hereby -levied and assessed a-
gairst each such lot, tract and parcel and other property appear-
ing upon such -roll the amount finally charged against the same
thereon.
SECTIOI 3: That for the purpose of this improvement there
is hereby created and established a Special Fund to be called
Local Improvement Fund District E o.30.
SECTIOI 4: This Ordirarc a -shall take effect amd be in full
force and effect from and after its passage by the City Council
of -the City of Edmonds, its approval by -the -Mayor and its publi-
cation accordirg- to lam.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Edmonds in rega-
lar session this 18th-day of July, 1922, and approved by me the
same date.

est upon the whole unpaid sum shall be charged at the rate of
eight percent. (8%) per annum and each year thereafter one of
said installments, together with interest due upon the whole -of
the unpaid balance, shall be collected.- -
Any installment not paid prior to the thirty (30) day period
during which such installment is due and payable shall thereupon
become delinquent. All delinquent installments shall, until
paidbesubject to a charge for interest at the rate of eight per-
cent. (8%) per arnum and to an additional charge of five (5%)
percent. penalty, levied upon both principal and interest due up-
on such installments, from the date of delinquency. The collec-
t i on of such delinquent installments shall be enforced in the
manner provided by law, and the Ordinances of the City of Edmonds.

Block "H" from Fourth Street to Sixth Street; also Fourth Street
from Edmonds Street to Alley in Block "H"gall in the City of
Edmonds, Washirgton,-by constructing sewers, together with the
neoessary appurtenances necessary for the proper drainage of said
District under Ordinance Bo.-325, as the same now stands be, and
the same is, hereby in all things approved and confirmed.
SECTION:2: That each of the Lots, Tracts, and parcels of
land and other property shown upon said roll is hereby declared
to be specially benefited -by said improvement in at least the
amount charged against the same, and that the assessment appear-
ing against the same upon the said re -assessment roll is in pro-
portion to the several re -assessments appearing upon said roll.
There is hereby levied and re -assessed against each such lot,
tract and parcel of ground and other property appearing upon such
re -assessment roll the amount finally charged against the same
thereon.
SECTION 3: That for the purpose of this improvement there
is hereby created and established a special Fund to be known as
Local Improvement Fund District Fo.30.
SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after its passage by the -City Oouncil
of the City of Edmonds, its approval by the Mayor, and its publi-
cation according to law.
