Ara Ordinance amending Section 4 of Ordinance S o.313 of the
City of Edmonds, entitled:
"An Ordinance relating to the Edmonds Trunk Sewer as construe- '
ted under and pursuant to Ordinance %o.306 of the City of Edmonds
prescribing the method by which, and the manner in which private
sewer connection shall be made with the same, providing for the

licensing of persons to make such connections, providing a system
of charges to be made for connections with the trunk sewer and
the mode of payment therefor, providing for the creation of a
sewer fund, the purpose for which such fund shall be used, and
providing penalties for the violation thereof.
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Edmonds,
qas follows:
SECTI011 1: Than Section 4 of Ordinance 1 o.313 of the City of
Edmords, entitled as above set forth, be and the same is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"Section 4: It shall be unlawful for any person to make any
nering in any public sewer, or correct away private drain or sewer �
erewith without first having taker out and procured a license
' o to do, in the warner hereinafter provided, to be known as a
"Sewer Cortractor's License", the fee of such Contractor's Li -
tense shall be the sum of1.00 per arrow, and no license shall
be issued in the name of more than one persvb, or to other than a
natural person, nor for a less period than one year."
SECTIOT; 2: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after its passage by the City Council,
the signature by the Mayor and publication according to law.
Passed by the council of the City of Edmonds, this 5th day
of Pebruary, 1924, ar.•d approved by me the same date.
