City of Edmonds relatir_g to the granting of licenses for the sale
of beer and wine.
The City Colarcil of the Ci -y of Edmonds, Washirgtoi_, do or-
dair as follows:

SECTIOr 1: That Section 2 of Ordinance Lo.487 of the City
of Edmonds be,and the same is, hereby amended to read as follows:
SECTIOS 2: That license for the sale of beer and wine of
such alcoholic content as is permitted by the laws of the United
States of America and State of .,ashirgtor, shall be granted by
the City of to the persons described ar_d under the con-
ditiors folk:-.: -x.g;
To grocers or other retail merchants by whom beer and wire
is sold only in bottles or in the original containers upon the uM
payment of a monthly license fee of Two Dollars ($2.00). Under
such license the drinking of wire and beer on the premises where
sold shall be unlawful.
To persons selling such beer and wire iL bottles only, either emu"
to be consumed or premises or to be taker away by the purchaser,
upon the payment of a monthly license fee o--"' Three Dollars (3.00;.
To persors selling such beer or wire in bottles or
to be drunk or the premises, with or without meals upon

Sk'CTIOL 2: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
five days from and after its passage, approval, and publication
as provided by law.
