relating to the fix Yg and establishing of rates for the Municipal
Water System by pro iding for deposits in the case z,f rented pre-
mises.
Be it ,ordained 14y the City Council of the City of Edmonds:
SECTIO1. 1: :hat Ordinance Lo.412 of the City of Edmonds be,
and the same is, hereby amended by adding thereto a rew Section
Numbered 6A reading as follows:
6-2I0E 2h t in every case where applicatior is made by
a tenant for water service for rented premises the applicant shall
deposit with the City the sum of Five Dollars (05.00). Ir the
evert the water rentals for said premises should, thereafter, be-
come delinquent said deposit, or such part thereof as may be neces-
sary, may be applied by the City in payment of such delinquent
rental. Upon the disconnedtion of such service the balance re-
maining of said deposit, after its applicatiot to delinquent rentals
@hall be returned to the depositor with interest at the legal rate.
SECTIO3 2: .Ji Ordixiarces and parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
