ORDINANCE r0.516.
AN ORI INAPCE,vaeating the Alley between Maley and Sprague
Streets from Ninth Street to Eleventh Street; and the Alley
betweensprahue Street and Edmonds Street from Tenth Street to
Eleventh Street;said alleys being located in Blocks 42, 43 and
64, Plat of the City of Edmonds, Snohomish County, Washington.
WHEREAS the owner of two-thirds of the private property
abutting upon the streets and alleys hereinafter described in
the City of,Edmonds, duly filed her petition with the City
Council of the City of Edmonds for the vacation of said alleys.
WHEREAS -the said Council of said City by .esolution duly
adopted, fixed the 5th day of July, 1938, at the hour of eight
o'clock P.M., of said day, for the hearing and determination of
said petition, and
WHEREAS due and legal notice of the time and place ofhear-
ing and determination of said petition has been duly given by
the City Clerk as required by law, and
WHEREAS, it appearing to the City Council that the said
petition should be granted and the said Council does hereby
determineto-vacate said alleys, row, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EILIOILIS DO ORDAID AS DOLLOWS:
SECTIOD.1. That the Alley between Daley and Sprague Streets
from Yinth Street to Eleventh Street; and the Alley between
Sprague Street and Edmonds Street from Tenth Street to Eleventh
Street; said alleys being located in Blocks 42, 43 and 64, Plat
of the City of Edmonds, Snohomish County, Washington, be and the
same are hereby vacated ant the title to the land in the said
alleys above described is hereby declared to vest in the owner
of the abutting property asprovided by law.
