An Ordinance amending Ordinance Eo 413 of the City of Edmonds,
relating to the Water, Department of said city, by adding thereto
a new Section to be known as :section 21-A relating to sprinkling.

Section 1: That Ordnance lio. 413, of the -City of Edmonds,
relating to the Water Department of said City, be and the sate
is hereby amended;. by adding thereto a new Section to be known
as Section 21-A reading as follows:
"Section 21-A: The City Council of the City of
Edmonds may, in the case of shortage of water, or for
any other reasonable cause, make an order forbidding
or limiting the use of water in said city, or in any
portion thereof, for irrigation or sprinkling purposes,
and may, at its discretion, make such order at any time.
Dotice of such order shall be given by publication in the
official newspaper of said city, not less than one day
before the effective date of such order. In the event
of a violation of any shah order the water may be turned
off from the premises and the same shall et be turned

on again until the owner or occupant of the premises
shall have paid to the rater Department a charge of
three ( 3.00) Dollars for inspection and turning the water
off and on."
Section 2: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect upon its passage ana publication as required
by law.
