section 1: 'That Ord�rr.ance 110. 413, of the- City of Edmondds,
relating to the +dater Department of said City, be and the same
is hereby amended;. by adding thereto a new Section to be knovin
as Section 21-A reading as follows:
"Section 21-A: The City Council of the City of
Edmonds may, a.n the case of shortage of dater, or for
any other reasonable cause, make an order forbi&:ing
or limiting the use of grater in said city, or in any
portion thereof, for irrigation or sprinkling purposes,
and may, at it$ discretion, make such order at any time.
Notice of such order shall be given by publication in the
Official newspaper of said city, not less than one day
before the effective date of such order. In the event
Of a vidilation of any shah order the viater may be turned
Off from the premises and the same shall het be turned

on again until the owner or occup4nt of the premises
shall have paid to the rater Department a charge of
three (3.00) Dollars for inspection and turning the dater
off and on."
Section 2: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect upon its passe.-7e mid publication as required
by law.
