An Ordinance providing for the issuance of emergency warrants in
payment of additional salaries necessarily incurred in the Police
Department of the City of Edmonds and declaring an emergency.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OP THE CITY OP EDMONDS:
Section 1: That the City of Edmondsissue emergency warrants in
the amount of $450.00, being the estimated expenditues required to
meet the cost of additional salaries necessarily incurred inthe
Police Department of the City of Edmonds for the remainder of
the year 1945.
Section 2: An emergency is hereby declared to exist, with refer-
ence to said expenses, which coulc not reasonably have been fore-
seen at the time of making the next annual budget.
Section 3: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
and effect upon its passage and publication as provided by law.
