An Ordinance providing for the purchase of Lots twelve (12)
thirteen (13) fourteen (14), twenty seven(27) twenty-eight (28)
and twenty-nine (29), Block thirty-eight(38), Plat of the city
of Edmonds, Snohomish County, Was:iington, as a sanitary measure
and as a protection for the water supply of said city; providing
for the issuance of emergency warrants against the Water Fund in
payment thereof and declaring en emergency.
BE IT ORDAINED BY TiE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS:
Section 1: That the City of .vAmonds shall purchase lots twelve
(12) thirteen (13) fourteen (14) twenty-seven (27), twenty-eight
(28) and twenty-nine(29), Block thirty-eight (38), Plat of the City
of Edmonds, Snohomish County, Washington.
Section 2: That the purchase of said property is necessary as
a sanitary measure for the protection of the water supply of said
city and accordingly an emergency is hereby declared to exist
with reference thereto which could not reasonably have been fore-
seen at the time of the making of the last annual budget.
Section 3: That the estimated cost and expenditure required for
the purchase of said property is the sum of w650.00, which sum
should be paid by the issuance of emergency warrants drawn on the
Water Fund of said City.
Section 4: This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
and effect upon its passage and publication as required by law.
