An Ordinance providing for the issuance of emergency warrLnts
in payment of additional salaries necessarily incurred in the
Police Department of the City of Edmonds and declaring an
emergency.
Be it ordained by :he pity Council of the City of Edmonds:
Section 1: That t e City af. Edmonds issue emergency warrants
in the amount of a/00.00 being the estimated expenditurerequired to
meet the cost of as itional salaries necessarily incurred in the
Police Department _f the City of Edmonds for the remainder of the
year 1946.
Section 2: An emergnecy is hereby declared to exist, with reference
to said expenses, which could not reasonahlT have been foreseen
at the time of ing the last annual budget.
Section 3: This=.-dinance shall take effect and be in full force
and effect upon it>_ passage and publication as provided by law.
