.Ln ordinance regulating the location of gasoline pumps and further
re_-ulating sidewalk crossings from and to automobile service stations
in the City of Edmonds and repealing Ordinance No. 577.

section 1: from and after the date of passage of this Ordinance
not more than two (`} sidewalk crossingx on one street leading from
and to automobile- service stations of not to exceed thirty (30)
feet in width, shall be permitted in the City of Edmonds. Curbs
and gutters shell be i -stalled between driveways as hereinabove pro-
vided for.
Section 2: b.11 applications for automobile service station side-
walk crossings and for the right to construct the sane shall be made
in writing to the City Council of the City of Edmonds, and if such
application be granted the cost of the construction of said sidewalk
crossings shall be at the expense of the property owners and the work
done shall ue under the supervision of the City Engineer of the City
Of Edmonds.
Section 3: No gasoline pump shall hereafter be irEtalled at any
automobile service station within the City of Edmonds closer than
Ten (10) feet prom any abutting city street.
Section 4: Upon the taking effect of this Ordinance in the manner
provided by law, Ordinance No. 577 of the City of Edmonds passed
October 21, 1947 and published October 22, 1947, shall be and the
same is hereby repealed.
Section 5: This Ordinance shall tah-a effect and be in full force
and effect upon its passage and publish as provided by law.
