Ordinance 579OtRDIi CE NO. 579 in Ordinance regulating the location of gasoline pumps and further regulating sidewalk crossings from and to automobile service stations in the City of Edmonds and repealing Ordinance No. 577. THE CITY COUNCIL 0P THE CITY OP ED110:JAS DES 02.D11.IN: section 1: from and after the date of passage of this Ordinance not more than two (`) sidewalk crossingx on one street leading from and to automobile- service stations of not to exceed thirty (30) feet in width, shall be permitted in the City of Edmonds. Curbs and gutters shall be installed between driveways as hereinabove pro- vided for. Section 2: 4111 applications for automobile service station side- walk crossings and for the right to construct the same shall be made in writing to the City Council of the City of Edmonds, and if such application be granted the cost of the construction of said sidewalk crossings shall be at the expense of the property owners and the work done shallLe under the supervision of the City Engineer of the City of Edmonds. Section 3: No gasoline pump shall hereafter be iratalled at any automobile service station within the City of Edmonds closer than Ten (10) feet Irom any abutting city street. Section 4: Upon the taking effect of this Ordinance in the manner provided by law, Ordinance No. 577 of the City of Edmonds passed October 21, 1947 and published October 22, 1947, shall be and the same is hereby repealed. Section 5: This Ordinance shall tako. effect and be in full force and effect upon its passage and publish as provided by law.
