AN ORDINANCE approving and confirming the assessment
and assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 60 for the
improvement of r'ifth Street from the center line of Maple Street
to the center line of Dayton Street and for the improvement of
Maple Street from the center line of i'ifth Street to the center
line of Eleventh Street and for the improvement of Alder Street
from the center line of Ninth Street to the center line of Eleven-
th :street and for the improvement of Walnut Street from the center
line of mirth Street to the center line of Eleventh Street and
for the improvement of ltiinth Streot from the center line of Walnut
Rtreet to the center line of Maple Street by uhe construction and
installation of a combination sanitary and storm sewer, together
with the necessary manholes, inlets and appurtenances and such
other work as may be necessary to make a complete improvement, all
in accordance with Resolution of Intention No. 117 of the City of
Edmonds, levying an assessment on account thereof against the sev-
eral lots, tracts and parcels of land as shown on said roll, prov-
iding for the issuance of bonds therefor and fixing the date of the
issuance thereof.

THE CITY OP EDMONDS DOES 0±DLIN:
Section 1: That the assessment and assessment roll of Local
Improvement District No. 60 for the improvement of Fifth Street
from the center line of .Maple Street to the center line of Dayton
Street and for the improvement of Maple Street from the center line
of Fifth Street to the center line of .Eleventh Street and for the
improvement fo Alder Street from the center line of ninth Street
to the center line of Eleventh Street and for the improvement of
Walnut Street from the center line of Ninth Street to the center
line of Eleventh street and fro the imporvement of Ninth Street
from the center line of Walnut street to the canter line of Maple
Street by the construction and installation of a combination sanitary
and storm sewer, together with the necessary manholes, inlets and
appurtenances and such other owrk as may be necessary to make a
complete improvement, all in accordance with resolution of Intention
No. 117 of the City ot: Edmonds, as the same now stands, be and the
same is hereby in all things approved and confirmed.
Section 2: That each of the lots, tracts and parcels of land
or other property shown on said roll is hereby declared to be spe-
cially benefited by said improvement in at least the amount charged
against the same and that the assessment appearing against the same
is in proportion to the several assessments appearing upon said
roll and thereis hereby levied an assessment against each lot, tract
and parcel of land and other property appearing upon said roll the
amount finally charged against the same thereon.
Section 3: That the 18th day of June, 1948 is hereby fixed as
the date of the issuance of the bonds required to be issued on
account of said improvement.
Section 4: The City of Edmonds may sell said bonds and make
payment in cash in the manner provided by the Ordinances of said
City or deliver said bonds to the contractor in payment.
